This is a 5 week fun filled, active improvised comedy workshop. Over the weeks you will be introduced to the fundamentals of improvisation, learn techniques that will help you devise scenes, create stories, think quickly on your feet and be creative. Through performance games and show formats, you will become confident with games such as: ‘Scene Reduction’, ‘Questions’, ‘Accent & Genre Rollers’, plus many more comedy improv show games.
Improvisation skills can help you with many aspects of performance from theatre to stand up comedy, its techniques can also be an advantage in work / group or team building situations. Whether you are an experienced performer / actor or this is your first venture into comedy, this two day introduction workshop will serve as a solid foundation for to you become a confident and spontaneous improviser. Comfortable clothing & footwear is required plus a good sense of humour.
